Lighting Tips This decorating question was posed over at the Ask Meta Filter. Here we had an apartment dweller considering new shades for sconces that were, frankly, hopeless. The problem was that folks suggested ideas that were either fire hazards, unattractive bare light bulbs or new shades that were only slightly less expensive than some of the wonderful sconces we have in our Clearance Area online!
