Upon our arrival to the Boca Raton Resort & Club, my first impression was that we were witnessing a Royal Wedding affair. It’s not often that you get to experience such a gathering of exquisitely dressed women in lovely couture dresses, intricate feather and lace hats and swanky high-heeled pumps. The ballroom décor was breathtaking, and paired with a jovial atmosphere – you couldn’t help but feel spectacular.
Judi and I were honored to represent Capitol Lighting and congratulate the winners of the VIP ‘chandelier’ table raffle. For the third consecutive year, Capitol has generously donated a lighting fixture to the Junior League of Boca Raton to light up the ‘chandelier’ table during the fabulous event. This year the fixture was a Capitol Lighting exclusive from the Bliss Collection by Batalion Lighting. The most distinctive part of the event was the recognition ceremony for the phenomenal women nominees who are undoubtedly dedicated to our community and live to give back and positively impact the lives of so many others. Congratulations to the 24th Annual Woman Volunteer of the Year Winner, Lu-Lu Thomas, whose remarkable achievements include over three decades of volunteering at the Boca Raton Historical Society.
After delicious dinner followed by Saks Fifth Avenue’s fabulous fashion show and scrumptious dessert, Judi and I had the pleasure of meeting sweet ladies of the chandelier table. They were definitely enjoying their VIP status and admiring the gorgeous crystal and brass creation shinning the beams on their gorgeous headwear. We thanked them for the kind compliments and even snapped a photo of the stunning group on our way out.
